Renewal of Whitby Whaler U3A Membership

The payment of U3A annual subscriptions of £20 per person is due on 1st August each year.

If you have not renewed by 1st October each Year, your record will automatically be deleted to keep in line with website data requirements.

If there are any changes to your contact details or your Gift Aid entitlement please inform the Membership Secretary - Membership Secretary

Members can pay in one of 2 ways:

Your contract with us allows us to continue holding this data and to communicate with you. By renewing, we shall assume that this contract will continue.

Whitby “Whaler” U3A group was formed in 1987, and currently has over 700 members. The term “Whaler” refers not to the town’s rich seafaring history, but is an acronym from Whitby Activities Learning & Education in Retirement. We have 53 individual groups meeting regularly, mostly over the winter months, providing opportunities for both leisure and learning. In addition there are occasional outings organised by some of the groups – please see ‘Events’ page for details.
